Niacinamide (vitamin B3) supports barrier function and can help calm visible redness for many people with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.
Concentrations around 2–5% are often well tolerated. Higher percentages are not automatically better and may irritate reactive skin.
Look for fragrance-free formulas and introduce niacinamide after cleanser, before moisturizer — or choose a moisturizer that already includes it.
Stop and reset if you feel burning or increased flushing; calm skin first, then retry more slowly.
