About rosacea.beauty

Who we are

rosacea.beauty is a free, judgment-free community and knowledge base built for people living with rosacea. We started this project because rosacea is common — affecting an estimated 16 million people in the U.S. and hundreds of millions worldwide — yet good, plain-language information is surprisingly hard to find, and misinformation on social media often makes things worse.

We're not a clinic, and we don't sell treatments. Our goal is simple: help people understand their skin, feel less alone, and make informed decisions to discuss with a licensed clinician.

How we create our content

Every article on rosacea.beauty is written by our editorial team and grounded in publicly available guidance from established medical and research organizations, including:

  • American Academy of Dermatology (AAD)
  • National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS)
  • National Rosacea Society
  • Peer-reviewed clinical studies, where available

Every article lists its sources at the bottom, so you can check them yourself.

What we are — and what we're not

  • We are an educational resource and a peer community.
  • We are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • We do not claim to have medical professionals on staff. Where an article discusses clinical topics (medications, procedures, diagnosis), it is a summary of publicly available medical literature and guidance — not a personal medical opinion.
  • If you have symptoms or questions about your own skin, please see a licensed dermatologist or physician.

Our editorial standards

  • We update articles when guidance changes or new research is published; each article shows when it was published and last updated.
  • We correct errors as soon as we're made aware of them. If you spot something inaccurate, please contact us at kucheryavaara@gmail.com and we'll review it.
  • We do not accept payment to feature specific products or brands in educational content.

Our community

rosacea.beauty is also a place to connect with others who understand what it's like to live with rosacea — to share what's helped, ask questions, and feel less alone. Community posts and discussions reflect individual experiences, not medical guidance.
